Abstract

Tehseen Sabai Walvi, a significant yet underrecognized poet, contributed extensively to Urdu and Saraiki literature, establishing a distinctive position among his contemporaries. His upcoming collection, Hadisa e Wafa, symbolizes his dedication to Urdu poetry, which, though revered for its quality, remains largely unpublished. Walvi explored nearly all literary genres, enriching both Urdu and Saraiki traditions. His work reflects themes of national identity intertwined with cultural heritage, particularly in the Saraiki language's legendary capital. Financial constraints impeded the publication of his complete Urdu works, creating a gap in literary history. Further research into his unpublished works could provide critical insights into his contributions and the development of regional literature.
