Abstract

Ahmed Javed is a fiction writer who made his mark after 1960 promoting symbolic fiction. He published four volumes of short stories as his legacy, i.e. “Ghair Aalamati Kahani, Chidya Ghar, Gum-Shuda Shehar Ki Dastan and Raat Ki Rani”. He has written mostly on topics regarding resistance, political coercion, social stagnation, human exploitation and gender discrimination. This article comprises analytical and critical study of his short stories.
